Bossy's troop, sometimes referred to by AM as "Our Gang", is a troop headed by the matriarch Bossy. AM focused on this troop early in his documentation, because it had the entertaining and photogenic baby monkeys Baty and Dopey. That's why there are disproportionately more monkeys documented for this troop than any other.

Bossy's troop has gone through several male alphas in the past few years. Recently, alpha male Grandee lost the post and disappeared soon afterwards. Bossy's son Barry adopted an "alpha regent" role for a couple of years before Lowry deposed him.

Almost all monkeys in Bossy's troop have names that end with the letter Y. There are some exceptions, like Grandee (who iswasin the troop despite not adhering to the naming convention) and Stumpy (who was never in the troop despite adhering to the naming convention).
