Taggy
Taggy is a high-ranking male in Bossy's troop. He was named because of the bulky tracking collar he wore around his neck until about 2018.
Taggy has always been a fairly ill-tempered monkey. He mellowed out somewhat once his collar was removed.
When Cocky went missing, Taggy made a play to become male alpha of Bossy's troop. However, she rejected him. He tried again, and failed again, when Grandee was injured by a bite.
Taggy is still with the troop, although he frequently gets into rows. That said, he has survived two alpha changes, and has kept his high ranking.
Taggy is likely related to Lubby, and has a relationship with many monkeys in Annie's troop. It's possible Annie's troop was his natal troop.
Taggy was sterilized in early 2019.
As of September 2022, Taggy is an elder male, having outlived Cocky and outlasted Grandee. AM is not sure how much longer Taggy will be around. Still, Taggy is a trusted babysitter, showing special affection towards Rena.
