Stumpy
Stumpy was a drifter, and was the first monkey that AM came across. At the time, he was about 1 year old, and had recently lost half of his right arm, likely to a poacher's trap. He was also without his mother, who had likely been killed by the same trap, or a similar one. While recovering from the wound, he spent a lot of time with his friend Mr. Lazy Eye and an unnamed female monkey, who may have been a sibling.
Despite these brutal setbacks, Stumpy joined his aunt Annie's troop and eventually ascended to the male alpha position. He held onto that post for almost one full year, before being replaced by Andy. In that time, he fathered Jack, Stompy, Ada, and Alina.
Stumpy drifted around after that, trying to join other troops. He was briefly in Acton's troop, befriending Morton. Unfortunately, he either left the troop (due to lack of feeding) or was kicked out in early 2022.
In early 2022, Stumpy hung around the periphery of Nullah troop, hoping to be accepted there. AM has not seen Stumpy since February 2022. He has likely passed away.
