Stumpy was the first monkey that Arroz Marisco came across. At the time, he was about 1 year old, and had recently lost half of his right arm, likely to a poacher's trap. He was also without his mother. He spent a lot of time with his friend Mr. Lazy Eye.
Despite these brutal setbacks, Stumpy joined his aunt Annie's troop and eventually ascended to the alpha male position. He held onto that post for almost one full year, before being replaced by Andy. In that time, he fathered Jack, Stompy, Ada, and Alina.
Stumpy has since drifted around, trying to join other troops. He was last seen trying to join the Temple troop.
