Grandee
Grandee is the former male alpha of Bossy's troop. Despite being ousted as alpha, he is allowed to remain in the group as a high-ranking male.
Grandee is known for his uncommon gentleness. He is a rare high-ranking male who cannot seem to spend enough time with his children, and often grooms them with clear affection.
Towards the end of his reign, Grandee formed a clique with many of his young daughters, especially Fify. G*ps*'s daughter Kailey was also allowed in this clique a few months before her premature death.
Grandee's fall began when he suffered a vicious bite, possibly from a wild dog. It took him several weeks to recover; he spent part of this time away from Bossy's troop to recover, leading AM to think that he had been kicked out of the troop. However, this was more of Grandee laying low and avoiding conflict in order to heal his wounds. He returned once he healed and briefly re-assumed the alpha role; however, Bossy may not have thought highly of his leave of absence. Combined with the massive influx of feeders due to the 2020 COVID pandemic, Bossy seems to have decided that it's better to take her time to choose a new alpha than to rush someone new in or continue with the now-elderly Grandee.
Grandee has some sort of permanent disability in his right hand, and cannot bend his right middle finger.
