Taggy is a high-ranking male in Bossy's troop. He was named because of the bulky tracking collar he wore around his neck until about 2018.
Taggy has always been a fairly ill-tempered monkey. He mellowed out somewhat once his collar was removed.
When Cocky went missing, Taggy made a play to become male alpha of Bossy's troop. However, she rejected him. He tried again, and failed again, when Grandee was injured by a bite.
Taggy is still with the troop, although he frequently gets into rows.
Taggy is likely related to Libby, and has a relationship with many monkeys in Annie's troop. It's possible Annie's troop was his natal troop.
Taggy was sterilized in early 2019.
