Grandee was the former male alpha of Bossy's troop. He was ousted in 2021. He his still alive, but has relocated to a completely different part of Monkey Hill.

Grandee was known for his uncommon gentleness. He was a rare high-ranking male who could not spend enough time with his children, and often groomed them with clear affection.

Towards the end of his reign, Grandee formed a clique with many of his young daughters, especially Fify. G*ps*'s daughter Kailey was also allowed in this clique a few months before her premature death.

Grandee's fall began when he suffered a vicious bite, possibly from a wild dog. It took him several weeks to recover; he spent part of this time away from Bossy's troop to recover, leading AM to think that he had been kicked out of the troop. However, this was more of Grandee laying low and avoiding conflict in order to heal his wounds. He returned once he healed and briefly re-assumed the alpha role; however, Bossy may not have thought highly of his leave of absence.

Grandee lost his alpha role and was kicked out of the troop in 2021. This has created some ripple effects in Bossy's troop, most notably Ridgy's drop to close to the bottom of the troop hierarchy.

AM reports that he has since been seen several times in a small parking lot north of the reservoir. He is alive, but his days of leading a troop are over.

Grandee had some sort of permanent disability in his right hand, and could not bend his right middle finger.
