Cocky was a former male alpha of Bossy's troop. He disappeared suddenly in 2018, at about the same time as Bessy's foot injury. AM has speculated that there may be a common cause between those two events, like a fight with another troop.
Cocky's absence created a power vacuum at the top of Bossy's troop that Taggy and Grandee fought to fill. Grandee won Bossy's blessings, and was alpha of the troop for a couple of years before being displaced.
Cocky had several children with Sally. His disappearance caused Sally's ranking in the troop to drop precipitously.
Cocky once had a memorable encounter with an infant Dopey, who interrupted a grooming session from Nelly when he started pulling on Cocky's testicles. Unfortunately, Cocky did not realize Dopey was to blame and Nelly took the brunt of his anger. But in Cocky's rush to attack Nelly, he swept Dopey aside, terrifying the tiny infant. Thankfully, Dopey's mother Reddy was nearby to console him as Cocky chased Nelly away.
