Cocky was a former male alpha of Bossy's troop. He disappeared suddenly in 2018, at about the same time as Bessy's foot injury. AM has speculated that there may be a common cause between those two events, like a fight with another troop.
Cocky's absence created a power vacuum at the top of Bossy's troop that Taggy and Grandee fought to fill. Grandee won Bossy's blessings, and was alpha of the troop for a couple of years before being displaced.
Cocky had several children with Sally. His disappearance caused Sally's ranking in the troop to drop precipitously.
Cocky once had a memorable encounter with an infant Dopey, who interrupted a grooming session from Nelly when he started pulling on Cocky's testicles.
