Puppy Mum, also known as Puppy Mom, was a monkey in the Parking lot troop. At the time she was being filmed, she was elderly, possibly in her early 20s. She was missing part of her right arm and had no tail.
Puppy Mum was notable for adopting and nursing abandoned babies. She was often seen with a new baby every year.
AM was able to catch Puppy Mum on film a few times due to construction in the parking lot she usually frequented. Once construction there ended, he was no longer able to document her.
JW reports that Puppy Mum was last seen in late 2019, and has been missing ever since. Due to her advanced age, it is likely she has passed away.
