Until 2022, he was the only male born in 2016 still in Bossy's troop. AM suspects that his many grown sisters favored him, and defended him from anyone from Bossy's clan who tried to oust him. He was ultimately kicked out of the troop in 2022, a few years later than a typical male monkey.
