Charly is a monkey originally born into Bossy's troop, who was known for excessive crying as a child.
For a while, he physically attacked by other monkeys in the troop (likely Bossy's daughters), in an effort to get him to leave for another troop. This is normal for male monkeys of his age. He eventually exited the troop with Spocky.
He is currently in a bachelor troop with Tiny, trying to join Löwina's troop.
