Berty is a mid-ranking monkey in Bossy's troop. She is a sterilized adult daughter of Reddy's, and often attempts to babysit her siblings. However, she is often too intense for them; she once grabbed her infant brother Dopey and climbed higher in a tree than he was comfortable with, causing him to urinate in fear. Since then, Dopey (and most other children in Bossy's troop) reject Berty's offers to aunt them.
