Nora
Nora is the matriarch of Nora's troop. She is known for being a rough mother, especially to her newborns. It seems to take her about a month between when she delivers a baby and when her mothering instincts kick in. Between that time, she treats her babies very callously, dragging them along the road if she's not ignoring them altogether. Nan sometimes helps her with this, trying to "remind" Nora with hits and slaps to take care of her child; unfortunately, she has decided not to intervene for Nora's 2022 baby.
Unfortunately, this means the mortality rate of Nora's babies tends to be rather high. Since documentation began, she has lost 3 of her infant children, likely exacerbated by her denying those babies milk and treating them recklessly.
AM has speculated that she suffers regularly from some kind of postpartum depression after delivery, making it hard for her babies to survive their first month of life, until the depression has cleared.
