Nan

Nan is an older monkey living in Nora's troop. She spends a lot of time with Nora; AM has speculated that she may be Nora's mother or aunt. AM describes her as the troop elder and second-in-command to Nora.

Nan often helps Nora with Nora's newborns. Nora can be a careless mother, especially to an infant; AM has documented Nan trying to literally knock sense into Nora when she is ignoring her baby's cries. However, she has decided to not help Nora with her 2022 baby.
