Ameia is a low-ranking monkey in the Parking lot troop. She is recognizable by her deformed lips, and she may be blind in her left eye.
Ameia is notable for adopting the abandoned baby Dario in the same year that she gave birth to her son Brio.
Ameia has had more children than those listed here. JW filmed her with an unnamed infant in 2018, and mentioned that she had lost a son in 2016.
Ameia may be low-ranked by her troop, but has been a celebrity with the human feeders ever since adopting Dario, sometimes coming out to applause.
