Dolory, often referred to as Dy, is one of Bossy's daughters in Bossy's troop. She is one of the largest monkeys in the troop, male or female. She is one of Monkey Hill's most notorious kidnappers, which might be fueled by her sterilization. She can get away with these kidnappings due to her size and strength.
Most notoriously, Dy once dropped a struggling Spunky off a cliff onto a hard pavement surface 30 feet below. Somehow, Spunky escaped any sort of injury.
Still, Dy does not usually harm the children she kidnaps, as long as they do not struggle against her. The mothers of the kidnapped children, who tend to be low-ranking, generally know that they simply have to wait a few hours for Dy to get bored, and then she will release the child unharmed.
