Skull-Head's troop is one of the largest troops of rhesus macaques in the world, with an estimated 400-500 monkeys in its ranks. Despite their enormous size, they have enjoyed remarkable stability, with their male alpha Skull-Head in the role for 20 years.

Skull-Head passed away in 2022. His second-in-command, Wilde, took over the post. Despite this, MI has decided to continue to call the troop by Skull-Head's name, to honor his incredible life.
